Future-Proof IT infrastructure transformation enables market expansion

Bellingham’s tailored IT support and services has enabled the Proton team to work much more effectively over busier periods by providing them with complete control and full visibility of their IT infrastructure.

The Challenges

Bellingham IT was ware that the nature of Proton Group’s infrastructure meant that key decision making would take time. As a result, Bellingham IT had to predict any delays in order to decrease any risks or impact on access and security.  Bellingham’s ability to manage these challenges and evolve to project restraints, enabled the delivery of a robust IT service on time and on budget.

The Solution

Three key provisions were identified within Proton Group’s internal infrastructure that required modification or complete transformation. Proton Group required desktop and server network support for multiple devices across the office and warehouse locations, this included wireless usage, Microsoft 365 Office services and anti-virus software. The ability to host an app platform, which had been designed by a third party and enabled a wide range of its products to be ordered online, was also an integral part of the initial project.  In addition, Bellingham agreed to an ongoing service agreement, which included a monthly support initiative, which alongside a responsive remote support, enabled it to be onsite to tackle any critical business issues within 30 minutues.

The Proton Group is a leading manufacturer that specialises in the supply of advanced chemical hygiene products for the UK and international markets.  Operating from a dedicated production, distribution and administration facility located at Normanton, West Yorkshire, the company has an annual turnover of £3.74m.
